This was done as a study on creating animation ready topology for characters human characters.
Things learnt!
- You need to finalize the concept on the 2D design to save on having to go back and waste time redoing aspects of the 3D model. (Even though I don’t enjoy the pre-production process it is very important.)
- If I had made the topology a little less specific to this character (Ex: The areas with muscles), I could potentially reuse the low poly model as a base mesh for future projects. Specially if the proportions do match up.
